The Betsie Current and Glen Arbor Sun — seasonal community newspapers in Benzie County and Leelanau County, respectively — seek freelance writers in 2014 to help us cover local news, events, civic engagement, culture and the arts. We pay per story.
We seek creative voices who are passionate about telling stories that go uncovered by the traditional news media. We’d prefer that you live within these communities and can “pitch” us story ideas about local characters, business profiles and creative endeavors.
